Healing Through Art Group We will incorporate art and creative outlets as participants spend time each week learning about self-care, empowerment, and strategies for setting & maintaining emotional, physical, and relationship boundaries. The How to Help a Friend video series is a student created and led project to share resources with University of Iowa students to help them learn more about gender-based violence and discrimination and to support and care for their friends and peers.

Why is ending gender-based violence and discrimination important?

The University of Iowa is dedicated to eliminating gender-based violence and discrimination on campus, and we believe this can be accomplished, in part, by addressing how we collectively think about gender-based violence and discrimination.
